HUBUNGAN KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR IPAS SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between learning independence and the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in SDN 4 Singkawang. The type of research used is correlational research or a relationship with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all fourth-grade students in SDN 4 Singkawang. The sampling technique in this study was total sampling. The sample in this study were 40 students in grades IV A and IV B of SDN 4 Singkawang. Data collection techniques in this study were measurement and indirect communication. The measurement technique was used to obtain data on student learning outcomes taken using multiple-choice questions on the material of forces around us. The indirect communication technique was used to obtain data on student learning independence taken using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used percentage analysis of learning independence, analysis of the average value of learning outcomes, and the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results of the study showed (1) the level of student learning independence was classified as high based on percentage calculations with an overall average of 70%; (2) the level of student learning outcomes on the material of forces around us is classified as moderate based on the calculation of values with an average of 66, (3) there is a relationship between learning independence and the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in science at 0.444 with a significance of 0.004<0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that this study indicates a relationship between learning independence and the learning outcomes of fourth grade students on the material of forces around us.
